Sedation Nurse Audit at Care Fertility Tunbridge Wells

Care Fertility Tunbridge Wells have been at the forefront of developing the role of nurse sedationist for fertility procedures. Several members of the team have undergone the Safe Sedation Course with SedateUK and went on a mission of implementing best practice.

In this audit they investigated the patient’s experience on the day of egg collection, particularly sedation effectiveness and patients’ satisfaction with sedation and pain control during the procedure.

Results showed 98% of patients were satisfied, with a score of ‘good’ of higher. It reaffirms the success of this service implementation and reassures future patients of their experience at the clinic during egg collection procedures.
